American Idol Season 7
 Who do you think will be the next American Idol? He got the rhythym and he always has the nice song from the rest of them. I think he'll be selling a lot of cds. Pick now. Who do you think will win?

Carly Smithson lost another chance to be a superstar.
Smithson, the 24-year-old Irish bartender from San Diego, was the latest cast-off on "American Idol" as the field was narrowed to five finalists during Wednesday's results show.
Smithson had won rave reviews from judges -- but apparently not votes from viewers -- after performing "Superstar" from "Jesus Christ Superstar" on Tuesday's Andrew Lloyd Webber-themed performance show.
Judge Randy Jackson told host Ryan Seacrest: "It must be a bit of a popularity week in the vote."
Controversy had swirled around Smithson at the start of the seventh "Idol" season because of her previous experience in the music industry. In 2001, MCA Records released Smithson's debut "Ultimate High," which flopped on the charts.
Syesha Mercado, who sang "One Rock 'n' Roll Too Many" from "Starlight Express," joined Smith in the bottom two on Wednesday's results show.
Brooke White was visibly shocked she wasn't one of the show's lowest vote-getters.
White caused a stir Tuesday when she stopped singing a few seconds into "You Must Love Me" from "Evita" and asked "Idol" music director Ricky Minor to start over, a first for the Fox singing competition. Jackson and Simon Cowell praised White's decision to reboot, but Paula Abdul was upset about the do-over.
"You must never start and stop," Abdul told White.
During the results show, Seacrest announced the top 10 finalists will visit 49 cities during the next "Idol" summer tour.
President Bush and first lady Laura Bush also appeared in a taped message to announce the "Idol Gives Back" charity event had raised more than $65 million for underprivileged children.
Only 5 of them remains. Who's next to be voted out?

__________________________David Archuleta has very nice eyes. When he sang songs, his eyes sort of expresses it all! Jason Castro has very nice luggages(hahaha). But honestly, i just started watching this week. Before that, every time i saw their commercial, i always see him as a girl! When i found out, i freaked out. but he is very nicely built.
Anyway, i like Jason's voice.

__________________________i always watch American Idol..season 3 & 4 i followed closely..last two its kinda boring...this season it renewed my interest in the show..my bet is between the two david...i like david c. he's very good...but never in the short history of AI that a rocker wins..see Bo Bice vs. Carrie Underwood...so if it comes to two David..David A. will win..he's young..and very popular among voters...

but the thing with David A. is that he's still really young...and this MIGHT mean that his voice will still change, pitch-wise.
__________________________Singers and vocalists said that they started to sing at the age of three but never that younger, I can, without batting an eyelash, started singing even as a baby! How did I know? My sisters used to tell me that whenever I cried out hungry, our mom always scolded them, "Did you not hear your younger brother singing?" But on a serious note, in my book, David Cook is a virtual shoo-in as THE winner. Harinawa!

__________________________Nanny Brooke is a blabber. She's saying a lot of things that really annoys not only the judges but also some of the audience. She's lucky that she got a lot of fans voting for her in the textvotes and she still stays in the show. It's awful when she starts and stops. She's the only one who did that and she still gets the crowd. I'd be really surprise if she'll win.
