These are nice shots.. Buti't pinayagan kang magdala ng camera sa loob ng aquarium (aquarium ba ang tawag?). Pwede siguro pero no flash lang. Good Job!!
Thanks wolfpaq. Yup, pwede camera, kahit may flash. But ofcourse using flash will not result to any picture since the light will just bounce off the glass. This is taken from the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. :)

yes, SD...very minimal though, just a level of contrast and saturation, with a little bit of cropping using the Canon Digital Photo Professional software. Not as sophisticated as Photoshop. But ofcourse my mark is done with Photoshop. :)

the 10 cm long jellyfish can kill you or a horse with one sting.
the 20ft long jellyfish can kill you with maybe 10 to a hundred stings.
I guess it's nature's way of telling to the longer jellyfish, "You're big enough, you can fight your way through things. The little one doesn't have much hope in surviving." :)

When I was a kid, I thought people actually ate peanut butter and jellyfish sandwiches. ^,^'
Kal-El, how do you keep your shots from getting blurred? ^.^

Funny anecdote on the sandwich, Seravi.
To avoid blurriness in your shots:
First, you have to make sure that your camera is well-focused on your subject. For beginners, using the Auto-Focus (AF)is advised. But this limits your options as to which part of the subject you really want to focus on. But in general, the lens must be well-focused on the subject to avoid blurriness. But a well-focused lens is just half of it...
Second, if using the "AUTO" mode of your camera (both regular digicam or dSLR) focus, shutter speed, aperture size, and ISO speed, are decided by the camera (hence the term "Point and Shoot")so you shouldn't have to worry about blurriness. However, when using any mode other than "AUTO," one must make sure that the shutter speed is fast enough to compensate for the subject's movements, and for the unsteadiness of your hands (if not using a tripod).
Ofcourse, using a fast shutter speed will mean lesser light in your shot. That's why sometimes, if it cannot be helped, the flash/flash gun is used. But that's a different topic altogether. Hope this helps! :)

Hmm.... i really can confirm, but the small jellyfishes travel and stays in group and i mean thousands and thousands in a group. sample of group
you're right. on a more serious note, that's the very first thing that I noticed. a bigger jellyfish swims alone like most of the jellyfish in my pictures. However, two (the red one and the translucent ones) came in schools. It's pretty awesome.
